Summer Travels

I was blessed with 3 weeks of vacation this summer. 6 of us went to St. Kitts, West Indies for 2 weeks, back in July. We rented a villa just off the beach. It was a great time - filled with golf at the Marriott Royal St. Kitts course. We played it 5 times. Talk about a beautiful course with ocean views at about half of the turns. It was never crowded, which was surprising to us, thus we enjoyed it even more.

I returned from that beautiful island and worked 3 weeks, then took off to Ruidoso with 3 friends to enjoy the cool mountains for a week. Just returned yesterday from Ruidoso, and what a shock to come back to 30 degree warmer temps. That's right - it was 60-70's there all week, with mild rain, and alot of sunshine. Golf was rained out a couple times there, so we played the Links and the Cloudcroft courses, and indulged in casino's and shopping the other days. A great time was had by all of us. (Jazz & Itzy included.) They love camping & traveling. Were not too happy about the potty on the pine needles, but they did get used to it after a couple of days.

Back to work today, and it was a long day, but always is following a great vacation. Tomorrow will be easier as I get back into my routine once again. That just about ends my travels for the summer, however, Labor Day weekend is a Vegas trip - with no time off work - just a 3 day weekend. Can you tell that I work to travel and have one planned as soon as I finish another?
