Yesterday was a wonderful day. Jessi hosted Shannon's baby shower at her home, and Carly and Carolyn helped with the food preparation. It was a very nice turn out with 17 people attending. The table was delicious in appearance with cucumber sandwiches, pimento sandwiches, crabbies, chicken salad/crackers, watermelon baby carriage (filled with fruit), cupcake pops, key lime mini's, cherry cheesecake mini's, and as the main accent a diaper cake that looked good enough to eat. The strawberry sherbert punch was a big hit, as the ladies kept returning for refills. Everyone loved Jessi's cupcake pops and the variety of food was just the right amount. Jessi had fancy food labels so that everyone knew what they were eating.
Shannon looked beautiful and one of her high school friends, April, that is further along attended so that was pretty exciting for them to see each other as maternity buddies. Alot of Shannon's work friends attended, as well as high school, and her dear friend Carly - who is such a delightful personality to liven up any event. Shannon has a great group of work friends and I enjoyed meeting them and visiting, as well as seeing her high school friends again.
Now that the shower has come & gone, the reality of little Morgan is even closer. I am glowing with anticipation, for this little bundle of joy. She has two wonderful parents waiting to meet her and alot of family members anxious to spoil her. Morgan is a very lucky little baby.
