Today was a neat day, only 11 days until Morgan is due, and I met Shannon at Baylor and went to her appt. with her. She had worked her two 12 hr. shifts over the weekend, and looked tired, and her ankles were really swollen (oh, I remember the days). Her MW seems to think that Morgan could be hanging on past the due date, but no way to know just yet. I was happy that I had a light work schedule & and got to join her for her appt. and Casey was able to stay at work this time. We went to Jake's Hamburger joint, (that I have heard so much about), for lunch, and it was well worth the trip.
I would love to spend more time with Shannon, but we work opposite hours, so our time has been limited. I have been traveling for work, these past two weeks and she has really blossomed during that time. I think she is still glowing, but ready for it to be over with soon.
Nanna Mae
Shannon, it will be over soon, so just hang in there and know that we all love you and support you, and are very proud of you for working all through this pregnancy. You will be an awesome Mother, and these months of your body changing and the hormones playing games on you, will all be worthwhile when you hold that precious little Morgan in your arms. We are all here for you, (your family & your friends) and are waiting for your special bundle to enter this world to meet us. Time is near, and you are doing wonderful, so keep doing what you have been until that special day is here.
Love ya, Mom

Thanks. I came home and took a 3.5 hour nap. I guess I was just really tired. I feel a lot better now.
